Bed bugs do not transmit any known diseases, but their bites can trigger allergies leading to severe itching (pruritus), in addition to causing significant psychological distress. The bed bug usually hides near its food source. Bed bugs are usually exterminated in several stages. Dealing with bed bugs yourself can be a complex and expensive task. Furthermore, misuse of pesticides can seriously affect your health. It would be better to contact us.

Before proceeding with the extermination of insects or rodents (i.e. mice) an exterminator should first consider seeing to prevent intrusions and carry out a treatment safely. Moulds are often responsible for allergies, respiratory problems and others. Quickly decontaminate small areas (less than 1m²) demonstrating the presence of mould. Beyond one square metre it is preferable to consult us in order to avoid contaminating other areas of the home.
The extermination of fleas generally requires the use of pesticides. It would be preferable to consult. In addition to causing allergies, fleas can also transmit various diseases to humans including typhus, tapeworm and even plague.

Common mouse (Mue musculis)
is a small rodent of the murid family which is not native to America. It lives mainly in houses, farms, warehouses but also in burrows and can therefore adapt to various habitats. It is small in size from 12 to 19 cm long and weighs between 12 and 30 g. It has two pairs of incisors with constant growth. Its coat is tan brown on the back and grey on the belly. It is thus distinguished from the wild mouse (Peromyscus maniculatus) whose belly is white. Its vital area is rather restricted between 4 and 30 m. Its longevity is about 1 year and it is active all year. The female can carry out 5 to 15 litters per year, each litter of 4 to 10 pups. It is omnivorous but above all granivore. His diet can be very varied including fruits and vegetables, insects, garbage and others. It produces waste during movement and therefore contaminates its environment. Having continuously growing teeth, it gnaws away everything in its path (electrical wires, plastic pipes, woodwork, etc.). In addition, it can carry several parasites (fleas, ticks, lice) and can transmit many pathogens to humans and pets.

The bed bug (Cimex lectularius)
is one of the oldest known human parasites. It was almost eradicated in the quarantine years with the use of DDT which has since been banned from most western countries due to its high toxicity. The bed bug is 4 to 7 mm long and has a flat ventro dorsally shaped shape and is light brown in color.
Visible to the naked eye and may look like apple seed. The cream white egg measures 1 mm. at hatching the nymph resembles the adult but is much smaller in size. To reach the adult stage which takes between 4 and 6 weeks, the nymph passes through 5 corresponding stages each to a molt where a meal of blood is required. The bug feeds every 5 to 10 days and stays close to its food source hidden in the folds of the mattress, furniture or adjacent accessories.
The bug lives 10 to 12 months and the female can lay 2 to 5 eggs per day, so 300 to 500 eggs during her lifetime. The bug is not recognized as a vector of disease but causes skin lesions in allergic people in the form of edematous papules that can evolve into severe infections.
In addition to these conditions, the presence of bedbugs can lead to significant psychological distress, anxiety, sleep disturbances, isolation and shame.Be aware that no one is immune from having bedbugs and it is strongly recommended that you avoid trying to solve the problem on your own. Misuse of pesticides can increase spread, lead to resistance, and put your health at risk. If you are a tenant notified your landlord as soon as possible.

Mould is everywhere in our environment
Very useful in nature to degrade organic matter of animal and plant origin, moulds contribute to soil enrichment. Some also live in symbiosis with plants for the greatest benefit of them. Mould is also used by the agri-food and pharmaceutical industry in the manufacture of certain foods and drugs.Moulds do not have locomotor devices and therefore travel by air as seeds (spores). These spores will usually develop once deposited in an environment with a food source, adequate moisture content and a favourable temperature. In homes despite their presence, moulds are rather harmless due to their inactivity (vegetative) due to the environmental control and hygiene of our homes. However, they have the potential to develop in the event of a loss or poor control of the environment, following a disaster, water damage, water infiltration, inadequate ventilation, etc. Under these conditions mould will find itself in an ideal position to develop. Their source of food will be the structural components of our homes including wood, paper/cardboard, dust, fabrics, etc. In addition to damaging our homes, their proliferation may constitute a real danger to health. Several health problems are attributed to the presence of mould and spores, including asthma, headache, irritations of the eyes and throat, itching, nasal congestion, shortness of breath and others. Also the allergic phenomenon related to mold is similar to that of wasp stings namely that it can be triggered regardless of our age.
